I know - it's been a long time (over 2 months).  It's been a VERY busy 2 months.  We're now moved into our condo in Marlboro, MA.  We love it!  It is fabulous!!

Once sanity is restored - may be a long time in coming - I'll get some pictures posted to the site for your viewing pleasure.

Our friends Charlie, Mark, and Jessica are here visiting us from NYC and Phila this weekend for Boston Pride.  We'll be travelling down to Boston soon for a fun day of experiencing Boston Gay Day.  What fun!

So - May is going to be an interesting month!

1. Brian starts his new job on May 19!
2. Trip to Vegas May 23 - 27 for ML and Steve's vow renewal!
3. Going to the Maine camp with Brian's parents May 2-5!
4. Our 11 Year Anniversary (1 year anniversary of the commitment ceremony) on May 5 - including dinner at Clay Hill Farm!
5. We'll be finalizing the floors for the new condo, plus starting to move some items into storage there.
6. Cathy's dance recital is on May 18!
7. Diane's Birthday is May 16!
8. Mother's Day is May 11!

What a month!!!!!!!!!!

Today, we hopefully saw the last of the snow for the season.  This winter never seems to end.  We can't wait for our trip to Las Vegas with the Harens!

Some other news in our lives...we are potentially looking to purchase a loft in Marlborough, MA!  It's an awesome place, and we're excited about the possibility.  Anyone want to purchase our place in Nashua???

The rain won't stop.  When will this dreary weather end?!?!?  Thankfully - we both have jobs that keep us inside all day, and a great DVD collection and a Wii to keep us entertained at home.

Marilou and Steve are planning their Ten Year Anniversary with a vow renewal in Las Vegas in May!  We're very happy to be joining them for this momentous occasion.  Also, it gives us an excuse to go on vacation to Vegas!  We'll post pictures when we get back (at the end of May).

I've worked hard to get the photo galleries to be a little less cumbersome in download time.  I think I've done that.  Please - give them a go!  Also, many of you have requested the ability to download pictures.  In the Photo Gallery page is a link for Shutterfly.  You can go there, and just right-click on the image you want to save.  Happy New Year!

It's official!  We just got home from the State House in Concord with 26 other couples who partook in the Civil Unions now offered by the State of NH!  Our congrats go out to those who were able to join us in this celebration throughout the state, and our thanks go to the people who worked so diligently to make this important step towards equality occur.

We just got back from two days visiting Brian's Mom and Dad.  It was a fantastic time we had relaxing, eating, and enjoying each others company.  Thanks for such a great time!   I'm sure we'll have some pictures soon!

The About Us page is in the process of being updated.  Right now, we're working on preliminary versions of our autobiographies (short ones) so you all can get to know us a little better of who we are and where we come from.  Stay tuned for updates as we have them.  We should have something up by the end of the month.

Sorry about the delay in getting some more pictures onto the web.  It's been extremely busy at work for the both of us, and unfortunately, we haven't gotten around to posting the additional pics we've acquired.  The pictures that the professional photographer are now available online.  A separate slideshow is available on the Photo Gallery page.

Many thanks go to those of you who sent us their pictures.  We will treasure them always.  Brian's sister took a lot of great pictures - but it may be some time before we get them onto the website as she hasn't yet purchased a digital camera (snicker, snicker).

Two things:

1. We realize now that many people may have taken just the Favor tops and not the bottoms.  If this might be you, please shoot us an e-mail, and we'll get to you the corresponding bottom portion of the container.

2. The first slideshow is up!  It's scope is somewhat limited, as it's ours and Jon Nevins' pictures.

For those of you who have not yet booked a room at the Hampton Inn, they do still have rooms available.  If you decide you do want to stay at the Hampton Inn, please call and ask for Frank.  Frank is fabulous and will take good care of you (within his power).  Additionally, as a reminder, you can still respond via the contact page here on the website, if you've not yet responded.  We're down to about 13 parties we've not yet heard from (or have heard that they're going - but haven't yet told us what they'd like).

Everything is quickly coming together.  We've started getting UPS packages daily with items for or regarding the ceremony.  It's hard to believe we have just 2 months before the ceremony.  The excitement builds daily.  Most of the items on our checklist are now checked off.  As you probably know - as of right now, the invitations will be going out next week (hopefully).  We just hope we have everyone's newest addresses!

We have a big weekend ahead of us.  On Friday night, we'll be on our way to Maine to visit Bri's parents for the weekend.  With plans to meet with the florist, the baker, and the photographer all between 8:30 and 2:00 on Saturday, time is going to be very short.  Thankfully, it will be a relaxing weekend with his parents otherwise.  Sunday we'll be getting together with Scott's family to celebrate Gabby, Micah, Cindy, and Brian's February Birthdays!  Getting a chance to spend time with family is always cherished.

The difficult decision of "what we really need" has been answered.  Since we've been together for so long, there is truly very little that, within our means, we haven't acquired.  A gift registry has been created showing items that we would love.  We hope these locations we've chosen are convenient for you, as they can be shopped online as well as through the store.

As you may see, the website has been fine-tuned a little bit.  You may want to check out the Photo Gallery page, to see some great pictures of us, our families, and our friends.  We did not have photos of everyone, but we fit in whom we could!  We will be updating them regularly, so keep checking back.  You'll also see the menu options are a little more prominent now.  They're now also accessible from a button right from the homepage.

We had a follow-up visit to Clay Hill Farm where we finalized the food options for the evening.  While there, we looked at five huge books of invitations and didn't like any of them!  Luckily, we found one on-line that we really like, and we're awaiting a sample to confirm it's the one we want!  We also stopped by the Hampton Inn in Wells to take a look at their amenities (if we are going to suggest the place to our friends and family, we need to make sure it's a great hotel).  It blasted us away! The rooms are huge and the management was great.  Free breakfast in the morning, a manager's "reception" in the evening, and a fantastic price.

On the way home, we stopped by the Harbor Candy Store in Ogunquit. We're trying to get some ideas for the favors.  We may be close to a decision on that front!

This weekend, Brian's sister was up visiting in Maine from Philadelphia for their father's Birthday, and we all had a fantastic time.  Additionally, we were able to try out some of the dishes at Clay Hill Farm, where the ceremony will be taking place.  What a fantastic time!  This will undoubtedly be a night to remember!
